People have been traveling to Colorado Springs for health care for more than 100 years. Our 300+ days of sunshine and dry climate brought those seeking a cure for tuberculosis to the region in the early 1900’s. Today as Olympic City USA, our altitude and mild climate draws athletes and those seeking an active lifestyle to Colorado Springs. The William J. Hybl Sports Medicine and Performance Center located on the UCCS campus is a space for leading research in sports performance and outstanding care for athletes of all levels. As we look to the future, we are certain that people will continue to seek out all that Colorado Springs has to offer in health, wellness and sports performance.
